Meet the Owners
Jasmine James
Co-Owner, Operations
Jasmine is adept at solving complex problems. She has spent much of her career in driving digital transformation: simplifying or streamlining solutions through iterative value delivery. Jasmine has spent 12 years across multiple disciplines: quality assurance, network branding, portfolio management and hospitality. Building strong partnerships and delivering exceptional results are her priorities when working with others. Her favorite career highlight is leading a team to Summit, the top 1% national ranking in a previous company.
She defines leadership as “Seeing others and their gift; to start with empathy and purpose. From there births a winning dynamic.”
Jasmine is a proud Bulldog Alumnae from Alabama A&M University where she received her B.S. in Marketing/Management. She continues to advance her leadership and business acumen through certifications from Harvard Business School online as well as leadership coaching from industry peers. Jasmine refers to herself as a continuous learner, always asking questions and constantly being a student at every turn.
Fun facts: Jasmine is an Ohio native and identical twin. She has a competitive dance background nearing 10 years of ballet and hip-hop training that has landed her top place in international dance competitions. One of her favorite pastimes is outreach. She believes “It doesn’t get any greater than serving others.” She is devoted to community service in all facets, in her community, workplace and home.
Jessica James
Co-Owner, Business Development
Jessica is an experienced and highly accomplished professional. As a Senior Buyer, she is recognized as results-oriented and strategic. She is a leader and outstanding team builder who drives results through various businesses. The breadth and depth of her experience includes traditional commodities, health and medical supplies, apparel, and discretionary lifestyle categories, some which include complex seasonal elements. Jessica currently manages a P&L of $1.5B for the second largest brand in the country. She is collaborative, very energetic and has an authentic personality. Jessica thrives on developing and fostering strong relationship across multiple levels of an organization by gaining trust, building equity and creating sustainable partnerships.
